The sale continues with an open session on Wednesday October 13thNSHip No.s 201 – 598 will be available from 11:00 a.m.

A total of 51 yearlings were included in the sale after the catalog went to press. Seventeen horses (hips # 136-152) were added to the Selected Session and 34 (hips # 565-598) were added to the Open Session. Their catalog pages are available on the OBS website at and in printed form on the sales floor.

OBS will offer online bidding again during the October auction. Buyers can go to the OBS website and register to get bid approval and then use their credentials to access the OBS bidding screen. Walking videos of many of the yearlings can be found on the Sortable main index on the OBS website. The website’s improved searchable and sortable main index provides links to videos, family tree and shipper information, and family tree updates that have occurred since the catalog was printed. It has also been updated to allow for shortlisting.

The iPad version of the catalog is available via the equineline Sales Catalog app. The app enables users to download and view the catalog, take notes, and also offers innovative search, sorting and rating functions. Information and downloads can be found at:

The sale will be streamed live on the OBS website as well as the DRF, TDN, BloodHorse and Pastthewire websites. The website now includes a Spanish language section that can be accessed from the home page. The index of the rubric links to information for consignors and buyers as well as to press releases and important general information.
