KENOSHA – Ward K. Bednar, 85, of Kenosha died on November 25, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Ward was a lifelong resident of Kenosha, born July 10, 1936 to the late William and Irene (Fauska) Bednar. On January 21, 1956, Ward married Roberta Landree. Ward worked at Pepsi Cola Bottling Company, American Motors, and Chrysler from 1955 to 1991, and retired in August 1991. Ward was a member of St. Mary’s Lutheran Church. Ward was also a member of Local 72 UAW, Washburn Lodge # 145 – Past Master 1981-1988, Friendly Center of St. Mary’s, Kenosha Moose Lodge # 286, Moose Legion # 31, Department 816 Breakfast Club, Member Retiring.

Hobbies included drinking coffee in the morning while reading the newspaper, watching old western movies, gardening, camping, racing, spending time with his pet Roxy, was a fan of the Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, but before He especially loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his granddaughter.

Ward is survived by his daughters: Sandra and Brenda; Son-in-law, Jeff; Granddaughter charde; Brothers: Ernest and James. Ward precedes his 64-year-old wife Roberta in death; Brothers Gerald and Robert.

On Friday, December 3, 2021, a visit will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Kenosha Funeral Services. The ministerial service and the Masonic funeral ceremonies follow immediately at 11:00 a.m. Private funeral.

Instead of flowers, memorials for the family, the Friendly Center and the Lutheran Church of St. Mary would be very welcome.

Due to COVID, there is a mask requirement in the funeral home.
