These April holidays and celebrations give us every excuse to celebrate

April is associated with spring, a new beginning and a time to bloom. This is no coincidence either. April comes from the Latin verb “Aperire”, which means “to open”. As with the flowers and trees, it’s a time to start over and shed those cool layers of weather. With the month comes a multitude of holidays and festivals that make each day a reason to celebrate.

From health awareness and art to food and music, April is a month worth celebrating (except tax day 😖). Oh, and we can’t forget the April Fool’s joke. The beginning of the month with some friendly pranks always reminds us not to take everything so seriously. No matter how serious or silly the vacation is, there is sure to be a day that suits you.
