Peak 81 of Mexico passed away at his home on Friday August 12, 2022.

The viewing will be at the Arnold Funeral Home on Sunday, August 21 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

A Masonic service will be held at 3:30 p.m., followed by a memorial service at the funeral home.

Robert Wayne “Dr. Bob” Peak was born on July 31, 1941 in Santa Fe, Missouri to Howard and Velma (Creed) Peak. On July 31, he celebrated his 81st birthday with 27 family members. After 43 years of practice, he retired from his chiropractic practice on July 31, 2006. He was a member of the First Christian Church. He was a very active member of the Mexico Jaycees, serving in various capacities and attending several national conventions. Robert was an active member of TPA and Little Dixie Shrine Club. He was a member of the Lions Club, the Elks Club, and the Mexico Country Club, where he enjoyed playing golf with lifelong friends until his health failed him. He loved fishing locally with brother Carl and a group of friends, particularly in Florida and Lake Erie. He was a graduate of Mexico High School and Logan College of Chiropractic.

On August 16, 1959, he married Donna Every at First Christian Church. She survives along with sons Brian Todd (Sandy) Peak and Michael Scott (Tammy) Peak; daughter-in-law Kathy; six grandchildren, Justina (Robby) Peak, Brandon (Kayla) Peak, Chris (Jasmine) Peak, Cody Cataldo, Sheana Cataldo, and Crystal (Toby) Gruen; six great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Lou Freyer; and a multitude of extended family and lifelong friends.

His parents preceded him in death; mother and father-in-law, Vernon and Lavada Every; brothers Carl and Don Peak; son Mark Peak; and brother-in-law, Jake Freyer.

Commemoration can be at Shriners Hospital or First Christian Church. They may be dedicated to the Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson, Mexico, MO 65265, Robert Wayne
