Paula L. Fisher Hice, 75, of Terre Haute, IN, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at her Windmoor Assisted Living home. She was born on October 23, 1946 in Marshall, IL to Harold G. and Doris Pauline Mason Fisher.
She was married to William “Bill” Hice, who preceded her in death in 2019. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ransom Fisher; and an adopted son, Danny Morge.
Surviving are two sisters, Nina Gonzales from Terre Haute, IN and Glenna (Bill) Mincer from Bedford, IN; two brothers, Harold Dean (Nancy) Fisher of Terre Haute, IN and James (Karen) Fisher of Riley, IN; stepchildren, Al (Doris) Hice, Doug Hice and his companion Angie and Becky (Kevin) Keen; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, as well as aunts and uncles.
Paula was a graduate of Wiley High School. She loved reading and visiting others, and particularly enjoyed giving sweets to her nieces and nephews.
Services honoring her life will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. IL time at the Pearce Funeral Home, led by Pastor John Bigger. The burial will take place in the Marshal Cemetery. Visitation is from 12:00 p.m. until the service on Friday. Memorial donations can be made to the Marshall Cemetery Association. Online condolences are accepted at:
