NJ ShopRite employee is stabbed to death with the delicatessen’s “biggest knife”

CLARK – A disagreement between two employees resulted in a knife stabbed in a supermarket on Sunday afternoon as shocked customers looked on, officials said.

The township police said on their Facebook page that they responded to a “argument” at ShopRite on Central Avenue on Sunday afternoon.

Police did not respond to New Jersey 101.5’s request for more information on Monday morning.

Mayor Sal Bonaccorso told New Jersey 101.5 that a long smoldering dispute is boiling over.

One woman followed the other around the shop with a knife and then stabbed them repeatedly, he said.

According to the mayor, the victim is said to be recovering from his injuries.
