Mark “Cubie” Aaron Steele –

With a heavy heart, the family regrets the death of our beloved Mark (Cubie) Aaron Steele.

He is survived by his mother, Karlene Steele Hutton; Stepfather Jimmy Hutton; Sister Amy Steele Dalton; Stepsisters Sarah Hill and Rose Jackson; Stepbrother Will Hutton; special aunt and uncle, Kathie and Mike Gross; lots of cousins ​​and lots of friends.

Mark was born on August 4, 1961 to Karlene Gross Steele Hutton and the late David Steele. He loved sports and his Civil War group, State of Dade Camp 707 – Sons of Confederate Veterans. He had so many friends through baseball, softball, and re-enactment that he was truly blessed.

Mark was a kind and gentle soul who had a battle with leukemia that was just too tough for his fragile body. We’ll miss him but now we know him in a much better place.

A funeral service will be held at Bethlehem Cemetery in Trenton, Georgia on Tuesday, September 28, at 11 a.m., under the direction of Brother Michael Gass.

The family will be welcomed to friends at the Moore Funeral Home in Trenton on Monday, September 27 from 4pm to 7pm.

Due to the recent Covid outbreak, masks will be respectfully asked for when attending the visiting and / or funeral service.
