Lottes, Margaret Ann “Maggie”

HIGHLAND / MADISON – Margaret Ann “Maggie” Lottes, 85 years old, of Highland, died peacefully while sleeping at Crest Ridge Memory Care on Saturday June 12, 2021. She was born on February 29, 1936 in Highland, Wis., To Walter and Wilhelmina (Martin) Hines.

Maggie was married to Philip Lottes on June 18, 1955 in Madison. She was a committed employee until she retired. Her real passion in life was painting, and she took pride in the fact that her art had traveled the state of Wisconsin.

Maggie is survived by her husband Phil; five children, Terri (Jim) Reinke, Joe (Judy), Pat (Patsy), Marianne (Jim) Russ and Tom (Becky); nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and brother Martin Hines. Her parents preceded her in death; and Sister Maria Schlimgen.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, chaired by Father Chad Droessler. This is followed by lunch at the funeral home. The visit takes place in the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday. Online condolences can be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
