Lillian Clark, 75, of Rumford, RI, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 28, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Stanley Clark, Jr. for over 50 years. Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Albert Roderiques and Norma (Smith) Roderiques.
Lillian served as a secretary for the Providence Public School Department for many decades. She previously served in the Peace Corps and worked in the Job Corps. She placed great value on family, education, justice and compassion. She was a world traveler, a cook extraordinaire, an avid cyclist, an avid beachgoer and an avid gardener.
Lillian is survived by her loving husband, Stanley Clark, Jr., and daughter, Uraina Clark, PhD, as well as several cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
Visiting hours at the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, RI will be Tuesday, May 3 at 10:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will take place in Rumford Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made to Amnesty International in lieu of flowers.
