There will be no Ready-to-Read or Baby Boost storytimes until September 7th. Families are welcome back to the West Fargo Public Library for storytime beginning Wednesday, September 7th.

The month for registering the library card begins
This September, West Fargo Public Library would like to remind West Fargo residents and owners that they are eligible for a free West Fargo Public Library card. In addition to thousands of physical books, audiobooks, and films, a West Fargo Public Library card grants residents free access to dozens of online resources and services such as: academic and professional practice tests, language learning tools, consumer reports, research databases for all ages, and more. A book, a community reading challenge begins
As part of this year’s One Book, One Community program, readers are invited to participate in the West Fargo Public Library Online Reading Challenge. Those who complete the challenge by reading and participating in One Book, One community activities will receive prize draw tickets for items supporting Indigenous businesses. This year’s One Book, One Community is Louise Erdrich’s The Night Watchman, set near the Turtle Mountain Reservation in rural North Dakota. NASA’s Artemis Project Community Reading Challenge begins
From September 1-30, West Fargo readers can participate in the NASA Artemis Project: To the Moon, Mars, and Beyond! Reading contest sponsored by the Space Science Institute. Hundreds of other libraries across the country are also encouraging their users to take part in the challenge to read and learn more about the NASA Artemis project as well. The Space Science Institute awards circulation backpacks of STEM-related resources to high-performing libraries. Join the challenge online at westfargolibrary.beanstack.org.

The West Fargo Public Library is closed on Sundays from Memorial Day through Labor Day. From Sunday, September 11th, the library will be open on Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m

The West Fargo Public Library will be closed Monday, September 5th in celebration of Labor Day.
