Minoska B. Pena, 39, of Smithfield, died on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY surrounded by her loving family.
She was the beloved wife of Ukoh “Charles” Usoro.
Born in the Dominican Republic, the loving daughter of Pablo and Damaris (Carabello) Segura from North Providence, she lived in North Providence before moving to Smithfield 3 years ago.
Minoska has been a paralegal for CVS Health in Woonsocket for the past 6 years.
She was a member of the Johnston-Smithfield Juvenile Board and a member of the NAACP.
In addition to her husband and parents, she leaves behind her loving children, Jovan Rocha from Pawtucket and Aaliyah Moody from Smithfield; her loving brothers Carlos Segura from North Providence, Huascar Pena from the Dominican Republic; several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was the sister of the late Pablo Segura Jr.
Her funeral will take place on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11 a.m. Bellows burial chapel, 160 River Street, Lincoln.
Her funeral will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence.
Relatives and friends are invited and can call on Saturdays from 9-11 a.m.
