Lance Detweiler
Lance Rae Detweiler, 41, of Charleston, died on May 21, 2022 in Alabama. He was a truck driver for Marrlin Transit but spent most of his life in the oil field. Lance loved his Oilfield Family and would have done anything for them. He was a member of the Army National Guard and was honorably discharged and was of the Christian faith. He was a very generous man and never asked for anything in return. He loved his family more than anything. His father Allen Detweiler precedes him in death; maternal grandparents Junior and Geneva Moore; Paternal grandfathers Hank Frunk and Richard Detweiler, and in-laws Junior & Loretta Fisher.
He is survived by three sons, Hunter Detweiler and Olivia of Russellville, Derek Detweiler of Russellville and Nikolas Detweiler of Greenwood; his mother Rebecca Drake of Fort Smith; a brother Travis Detweiler of Fort Smith; paternal grandmother Bea Frunk of Fort Smith; first Mrs. Melissa and Ron of London, Arkansas and second Mrs. Audrea of Greenwood, Arkansas; several aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Ocker Memorial Chapel, Van Buren with burial at Roselawn Cemetery, Fort Smith conducted by the Ocker Funeral Home, Van Buren.
