He was born on June 25, 1945 in Lowell to the late John and Albina (Kazlauskas) Carrigg. He was trained in the Lowell School System and graduated from Lowell High School and later earned an Associate Degree in Paranormal Studies from Faber College.
John was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the U.S. Army from 1965 until his Honorable Discharge in 1971.
Before retiring, he worked for the Lowell Housing Authority as a maintenance mechanic for many years.
He was an active member and past president of the Dracut Pop Warner and Dracut Lions Club. John enjoyed playing golf and spending time on Lake Winnipesaukee.
He has two sons, Robert Carrigg of Manchester, NH and Christopher Carrigg and his mate Krista Leblanc of Weare, NH; four grandchildren, Anne, Faith, Dylan, and Kendall; and an aunt, Lieutenant Colonel (r.) Carol Kazlauskas.
Relatives and friends will be welcomed to TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough on Wednesday, August 25th, from 5pm to 8pm.
