Herbert Larange, 64 | Tri City Times

Herbert Larange, 64, of Lapeer, MI, died on Sunday September 4th, 2022 at the Kith Haven Nursing Home in Flint, MI. Herbert Fay Larange was born on July 24, 1958 in Pontiac, MI. He was the son of the late Herbert Charles and the late June Anna (Rader) Larange. Herb grew up in the Pontiac area. Herb was a graduate of Pontiac Northern High School, Class of 1976.

He served in the US Army from 1976 to 1977 and received an honorable medical discharge from the Army in 1977.

Herb married Pauline Girtman on January 28, 1999 in Hazel Park, MI. Herb and Pauline have lived in the Lapeer area for several years.

He was a chef at Applebee’s Restaurant in Lapeer for 10 years. Prior to that, he worked for Quick-Green Landscaping in Oakland County for several years in the lawn maintenance and spraying business.

Herb is survived by his wife Pauline Johnson; sons, Scott Poll of Kalkaska, MI, Brian Ionetta of Philadelphia, PA and Andrew Ionetta of Philadelphia, PA; his sister LaDonna (Clifton) Larange of Tennessee; brothers Fred Larange of Wisconsin, Norman Larange of Oscoda, MI and Roger Larange of Oscoda, MI; his stepdaughter Rose Hutchenson of North Branch, MI; and stepson Clifford Carpenter III of Arizona.

A memorial service is planned for a later date.

Burial arrangements were entrusted to the Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, Michigan.
