If you’re wondering where America’s heroes fall on President Joe Biden’s list of priorities, try flying under the rainbow flag.
While federal authorities have tripped over themselves to pledge allegiance to LGBT activism, two couldn’t be bothered to acknowledge the fallen troops who make our freedom possible. Despite a government-wide tweet fest about Pride Month, departments of justice and treasury managed to ignore Memorial Day altogether.
Thanks to social media, Americans are getting a good glimpse of this government’s main obsession, which has devoted more than 30 posts to LGBT extremism on its official accounts — but hasn’t been able to devote half that attention to the men and women who gave it their all.
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, probably too busy promoting abortion as a solution to our struggling economy, missed both opportunities. Attorney General Merrick Garland’s team, on the other hand, showed utter disregard for our military, celebrating pride but overlooking Americans’ ultimate sacrifice.
The executive vice president of the Family Research Council, retired Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin, could only shake his head at the government’s tunnel vision:
It is amazing that any government agency would refuse to recognize and honor the military personnel who have died fighting for this country. We see this administration dedicating an entire month to recognizing and celebrating with the LGBT community while also having large numbers of homeless veterans and others with severe disabilities and PTSD. When will we reserve a specific period to help them?
Elsewhere, the taxpayer-funded hype continues. And not just until June. With gas prices soaring, US energy officials want Americans to know they’re working hard to promote diversity. “Proud. This month. Next month. Always,” the bureau wrote on social media. An angry torrent of reactions ensued.
“So reassuring to know you’ve put your time and effort into this nonsense when the Secretary of Energy doesn’t even know how much oil the US uses on a daily basis and Americans are paying their highest gas prices ever,” fired a frustrated American back. “Now if only we could celebrate each of you who does your job well,” said another.
At the Department of Health and Human Services, where Secretary Xavier Becerra is on a personal crusade to use taxpayers’ money to fund transition surgeries for children, the agency released an amendment on Pride — devoting 1,600 words to the cause and offering 15 separate statements from HHS executives ( including Rachel Levine).
not to be surpassed education Officials decided to change their government seal to the “Pride of Progress” flag and pay special homage to transgenderism – while the marines, air forceand space forces has hyped everything from rainbow balls to astronauts queering the moon.
Meanwhile at the US Department of Agriculturethe occasion even eclipsed National Dairy Month, when banners, logos and tweets spread politically correct sexism 24/7.
And while the USDA put up a good fight with his rainbow colored product backdrop, the LGBT pandering award must go to the US State Department, which — aside from posting more Pride tweets in a 24-hour period than anyone in government — has also managed to engage the world’s religious community with to enrage his stunt at the Holy See. The harrowing location of the US Embassy just steps from the Vatican and the waving of the LGBT flag felt like Biden’s latest middle finger to people of the faith.
Like so many, Connor Semelsberger, director of federal affairs for the Family Research Council, is appalled by the display and its underlying hostility to the religion as a whole:
The teachings of the Catholic Church on the beauty of natural marriage and human sexuality have been known for thousands of years. This move by the US embassy to raise a “pride flag” at the Holy See shows that the radical LGBT agenda is a pseudo-religion that seeks to replace the moral and social teachings of the tradition of the Catholic faith and its dominion over it all majors enforce institutions around the world.
According to his Twitter post Presenting the Story High flag, the US was slammed for its hypocrisy. “The Biden administration would never do that in an Islamic country,” Ben Shapiro said argued. “That is anti-Catholic bigotry.” And, ironically, it comes from the hands of a professing Catholic, Biden.
Mary Szoch, director of the Family Research Council’s Center for Human Dignity, insists this is just one in a long line of betrayals of his faith:
The US Embassy to the Holy See’s decision to fly a rainbow flag is consistent with President Biden’s clear lack of respect for Catholic doctrine. … President Biden, who describes himself as a devout Catholic, has openly supported policies that actively attack the heart of the family since taking office. He swore allegiance to the false flag.
Imagine being a Gold Star family — perhaps one of the 13 who lost loved ones to Biden’s disastrous pullout from Afghanistan — watching this government-wide gaiety unfold.
Your son or daughter, your husband or wife, your mother or father is gone, and all this White House cares about is a vulgar fringe that mocks truth, bullies faith and divides the nation, to give the full measure of devotion. They are the few who are inexplicably proud.
